How to Link an External Page to Your Squarespace Navigation

How to Link an External Page to Your Squarespace Navigation

Squarespace uses a Link page type to add external URLs to your navigation.

Steps:

Open the Pages panel.

Click the plus icon to add a new page.

Select Link.

Enter the external URL.

Name the link.

Drag it into your Main Navigation or Secondary Navigation.

Click Save.

Your external link now appears in your navigation like any other page.

Open the Pages panel. Hover over your link and click the gear icon. Toggle on Open in new window. Click Save.

Styling External Links in Your Navigation

External links inherit your header styling. To adjust:

Open Site Styles. Click Colors. Select the theme used for your header. Adjust Link, Hover, and Active colors. Click Save.
